About the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame Digital Archive
Founded in 1973, the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame honors men and women who have made a profound impact on Colorado golf. It also promotes the future of the game while recognizing achievement and preserving Colorado’s golf history. This digital archive documents the items in the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame Museum. Members of the public can visit the museum in the Broadmoor Resort Golf Club, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Recognizing the Past.
After a highly selective evaluation process, the CGHOF annually inducts up to three new members at its induction banquet. Those enshrined include more than 140 professional and amateur champions, administrators, club professionals, course architects, superintendents and other shapers of the game. The Colorado Golf Hall of Fame museum at the Broadmoor Resort Golf Club houses more than a century’s worth of historically significant objects. We commit considerable resources to the continual acquisition, collection, presentation and preservation of these treasures.
Honoring the Present
At its annual banquet, the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame names a GOLF PERSON OF THE YEAR and gives awards for DISTINGUISHED SERVICE and LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT. The Hall also annually recognizes one male and one female junior golfer as FUTURE FAMERS.
Ensuring the Future
Golf is more than just a game. It builds character, encourages positive behavior and teaches valuable life lessons. The Colorado Golf Hall of Fame is committed to the development of future generations of golfers. To that end, we support local and statewide junior programs.
